Ms. Bishop is a multidisciplinary environmental scientist trained in wetland, plant, and wildlife ecology. Ms. Bishop has experience with permit compliance, surveying, and monitoring for threatened and endangered wildlife and nesting birds throughout a variety of habitats in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a master’s degree student at San Francisco State, Ms. Bishop conducted research on climate change effects on tidal wetlands in the San Francisco Bay Estuary. Prior to graduate school, Stephanie performed monitoring, surveying, and research at tidal wetland restoration sites in the San Francisco Bay Estuary for USGS. Ms. Bishop has also worked in coastal habitats, including monitoring seabird populations on Alcatraz Island. As a recent addition to WWR, Ms. Bishop is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of wetland restoration planning including data collection, data analysis, GIS mapping, and report writing.
